Retired Court of Appeal Justice

Since Justice Feinerman retired from the Court of Appeals in 1988, he has served as an Arbitrator, Mediator and Private Judge. In his 25 years as a judge, he sat in a variety of departments including law, and motion and civil, while conducting hundreds of settlement conferences. After 13 years of civil litigation experience as a trial attorney, in conjunction with his judicial experience and having heard over 3500 private matters; trial lawyers agree that he is one of the most experienced and effective private judges available. The Daily Journal also agrees; Commencing in 2002, and each year thereafter, they selected him as one of the Top Neutrals in California. One attorney commented: “I have used the services of Judge Feinerman several times over the years. He has settled each matter with enthusiasm and professionalism. He is a class act!"

HOBBIES & INTERESTS
  • In his spare time, Justice Feinerman has a passion for traveling all over the world, frequently attends sporting events, enjoys his daily workout, and his 5 grandchildren.
